  23) Acrophobia - Noun - An intense and unreasonable fear of heights that can cause anxiety, panic attacks, and avoidance of situations involving heights. Example - Many people suffer from very serious acrophobia .

 22) Lexicographer - Noun - A person who writes, edits, or compiles a dictionary. Example - The lexicographer was carefully studying the dictionary to add new words to it.

 21) Calligraphy - Noun - The art of writing by hand with an emphasis on beauty and line./ Decorative handwriting.  Example - The art teacher was proficient in the art of calligraphy .

 20) Quit - Verb, Adjective, Noun - Leave (a place), usually permanently/ To stop, cease or discontinue. Example - He quit his job.

 19) Quite - Adverb - to the utmost or most absolute extent or degree; absolutely; completely. Example - I am quite capable of doing it myself, thank you.

  18) Raisin - Noun - A partially dried grape. Example - Add chopped apricots, raisins , and chestnuts.

15) Remiss - Adjective - Lacking Care or Attention to duty; Negligent./ Careless or negligent in performing a duty or business. Example - You have been remiss in your duties.

 14) Bribe - Verb, Noun - Money or something of value given or promised to influence someone's behavior or judgment, especially in a position of trust. Example - We bribed the children with candy.

 13) Protagonist - Noun - The main character in a story, and often the emotional heart of the story. Example - The story's main protagonist is a European artist.

12) Superannuated - Adjective - Something is old-fashioned, outmoded, or obsolete, or that someone has retired due to age or infirmity. Example - She is an superannuated graduate student.

  11) Translucent - Adjective - Not completely clear or transparent but clear enough to allow light to pass through. Example - The back of the phone is made from a translucent material.

10) Surfeit - Noun, Verb - An excessive amount of something. Example - We are suffering from a surfeit of regulation.

 9) Travelogue - Noun - A piece of writing, speech, or movie about someone's experiences while traveling. Example - I took a long bus ride through the mountains and kept a travelogue of my observations.
